Roasted Spiced Chickpeas
This low-calorie healthy snack is a yummy way to increase your legume intake

Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed (or 1.5 cups chickpeas, soaked overnight and cooked)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix olive oil, spices and seasoning
- Coat chickpeas
- Lay on baking paper on an oven tray. Try to have chickpeas separated (not touching each other)
- Bake at 200 degrees Celcius for 30 minutes turning occasionally.
